Kitchen Goes To War

Kitchen Goes to War was an interactive audio installation created in partnership with children and staff at Springhead Primary School in Talke Pits, Staffordshire. Commissioned by Staffordshire Libraries & Arts Service as part of the First World War centenary programme, Kitchen Goes To War explored the often unrecognised role that women and children at home played in the war effort.

The installation toured to schools and libraries across Staffordshire.
